Chapter V

Shadow created a huge ball of darkness above the base and exploded it, signalling for the heaven's three to regroup. Shadow then quickly dashed towards the meeting point.

Tien noticed the explosion and left the unconcious Zes alone. Having heal him, Tien knew that he would survive. Tien then dashed off. Meanwhile, Virgil had already noticed how the gates unhinged itself. He was know on his way to the meeting point, right under the dark explosion.

Virgil arrived, and saw that Shadow was already there. "Shadow! Who caused the gates to fly? Tien?" Shadow turned and looked at Virgil, shaking his head silently. "It's someone worse. It's him." Virgil immediately gasped. "It's raining, he'll be even more powerful." Shadow once again shook his head. "As long as there is water vapor in the air, he will be able to use his water magic." Suddenly, Tien landed in the middle of Shadow and Virgil, smiling sheepishly. "Hi!" Tien said joyfully. They started to kick Tien. "What did i do?" Tien protested as he blocked their kicks. "This is no time to play, Tien! He is... Wait, is it just me or has it suddenly just stopped raining?" Virgil said and quickly looked up.

The old man was hovering above them, looking at them solemly. The falling rain had collected into a huge sphere of water. The old man snapped his fingers and the sphere formed into a dragon. "Hello... Did u miss ur mentor?" The old man said.

"This is bad! Virgil, Tien! Run!" Shadow shouted, pulling his gaze away from the dragon and looking at his brother. "Wait... Where is Tien?" Shadow asked. Virgil looked around and managed to catch a glimse of white light trailing at a far corner. "He just ran." Virgil said. "Well... we should too." Shadow said. Looking at the water dragon curling itself around the old man. "Virgil. Virgil?" Shadow pulled away his gaze once more and saw Virgil's cloak disappear at the far corner. "They... ran and left me alone." Shadow said, his expression of sheer horror. He turn and saw that only the dragon was left above. He turned and saw the old man beside him grinning. "Hi?" Shadow said in a fearful tone.

Virgil was running fast when a huge explosion erupt at the spot Shadow was. He paused for a moment and turned. "Shadow... mentor really is mad." Virgil muttered. He turned and a teapot flew straight into his face, forcing him off his feet and he flew from the impact to a far away wall.
The teapot leavitated and the old man suddenly appeared. The teapot then neatly positioned itself on top of the old man's staff. The old man looked at the now unconsious Virgil and smiled. The old man grabbed Virgil and disappeared along with him.

Tien had already reached the entrance. "Well. I'm getting out of this place. I hope my brothers made it too." He said and he paused to look back at the place the explosion erupted. "Mentor wouldn't kill Shadow or Virgil. He'll torture them. Lucky I ran fast enough not to be caught." He turned and prepared to run when the water dragon plowed straight into him from above, a huge explosion of water followed. Tien laid underwater in the crater as he felt himself losing consiousness. Then someone pulled him out of the water. Guess i'm caught too. Tien thought before he fainted.

"Sir! Someone appeared and took care of the Heaven's Three." An elder reported to Narius. "A person appeared and took care of three Low Class 2 Wizards? Did you get a reading on his magical power?" narius questioned. "Yes, sir. The person magical aura reads between a low class 1 and a high class 2." He is so much more powerful than me. Narius gasped thinking about the new intruder in his base. "I hope he is on our side." Narius whispered to himself, fearing for the worse.

The old man sat on his levitating staff and was drinking tea from a beautiful gold cup. He was looking at the unconsious Heaven's Three. "Well... I have to admit, they are getting stronger." He said, chuckling to himself as he sipped his tea. "Blasted rain. Disturbing my enjoyment of my tea." The old man waved his hand and the rain stopped. "Much better." The old man then continued to sip his tea silently.

Chapter IV

Tien observed his new foe. The man was dress in white, the magical aura he release was also quite outstanding.

"I see you noticed my magical aura, Tien." The man said. "Let me introduce myself. I am Zes. Son of Narius." Tien nodded, showing he heard him. "As you can see," Zes started again. "My magical aura is of a high Class 3 Wizard. While yours is only a pitiful class 3. I suggest you give up. You should know such small difference in rank is actually alot." Tien smiled for a moment before he spoke. "Let me warn you, judging my class by my magical aura is a big mistake. Unlike others, the magic i learn recycles the extra magical energy that is released when our body reaches the max capacity. The faster the regeneration rate of a wizard, the greater his aura is. However, i am able to recycle my aura into my body, hence my aura isn't as outstanding. Such is the beauty of my magic."

"I've never heard of such magic before. However, i am very interested in witnessing White Lightning's speed for myself." Zes motioned for Tien to approach him. "Come, Tien. Give me all you got."

Tien looked up, ignoring Zes's taunting. "Its going to rain..." Tien said as he felt rain drop splatter onto his skin. Zes was enraged, he charge towards Tien gathering a bolt of lighting in his palm. Tien closed his eyes, and a symbol appear on his forehead, glowing white.

Then as if time had stop, the rain drops froze in from of Zes. He felt as if he was moving in slow motion. Tien opened his eye and calmly walked up towards him in a normal pace, looking into his eyes. "Your eyes maybe able to adjust to my speed, but can your body?" Tien whispered before he walked pass Zes. The raindrops unfroze and fell to the ground. Zes body suddenly explodes with wounds, his blood mixing with the rain. He fell to his knees, his back facing Tien who suddenly had a kanata in his hand. "Impossible... you're just a low grade 3." Zes gasped in disbelieve. "I already warned you, don't judge my magical ranking by my aura. Because i can hide it. Let me show you my true power." Immediately, Tien's body was surrounded by bluish mist. "Release." Tien said, the bluish mist disappear and Tien's magical aura shot up. Zes gasped as he felt the aura. Class 2. Zes thought before he fell to the ground unconsious. Tien walked up to Zes and place his plam on Zes's body. The symbol on Tien's forehead faded and slowly, Zes's wounds started to close...

Virgil had almost destroyed a part of the maze. He was now using katars to fight his enemies. His wild slashes had already destroyed many walls and pillars. "GET HIM!" a paladin scream as they jumped towards Virgil. Virgil grinned and jumped high into the air, evading their attacks. Then he flipped himself in midair and start spinning fast as he decended. Red energy and rain started to gather around his and soon he was leading a huge tornado of blood and rain back to the ground. "RUN!!!" the paladin screamed, however he was too late. A huge explosion shook the whole base. Virgil then leapt up onto the high walls and started dueling with the paladins there.

"This cannot go on. They are Class 2 Wizards. Our paladins will never last." A man dressed in white robe said. He was masked and was talking to someone sitting on a throne. The person on the throne was Narius, the Clan leader of Terria. "Then we have no choice. Zans, send out the elders. I will join them in battle as soon they are ready." Narius said. Zans immediately nodded and faded away. "What are they after?" Narius said, questioning Heaven's Three 's motive.

Shadow was engaging in a aerial combat with many paladins. He blocked most of their attacks with his cloak. Then, he suddenly faded into the darkness. Within seconds, he had already appeared behind each paladin quickly and knocked them down towards the ground. Shadow then faded once more into the darkness of night.

"We have orders to retreat and support the elders." a paladin said. Another paladin then raise his hand and fired a magical flare into the rainy skies. "So you guys are retreating?" Shadow asked, appearing behind the two paladin. The paladins tried to respond, however they felt into a trance with a flick of Shadow's hand. "Now this is going to get a little tough." Shadow said as he retreated back into the darkness.

Meanwhile, an old man, clutching a staff with a teapot balancing nicely at the top, appeared at the massive gates of Terria's base. "There isn't anyone here." The old man said. " Guess i have to open the door myself." The old man tap his staff lightly near the gates. The gates immediately flew open, flying into the base as it unhinged from the walls by the force created by the old man. The gates landed on different parts of the base, crushing buildings with its weight and size.

Shadow reappeared from the darkness and looked at the damaged caused. He saw the old man who also noticed him. The old man smiled and suddenly disappeared. "This is bad... He found us..." Shadow said, his voice shaking slightly.

Chapter III

Shadow gazed at the night sky; it had turned dark just moments ago. The fortress had been magically lit up with fairy lights. A magical torch that never burns out and lights places brightly. The fortress was now like a lighthouse amidst dark seas, shining brightly, cutting through the darkness of night. Shadow was standing in a watch tower, an unconscious guard at his feet. He was studying the fortress layout, he sighed when he realised he still had a long way to go.

"Walking is slow..." Shadow muttered to himself. "But teleporting without a set destination is very dangerous. Considering the Terria Fortress has installed magical sensors, teleporting will also bring this place into full alert. Resulting in higher ranking wizards to take the position of defending this place, which is creating more trouble for us."

Shadow then nodded as if he had decided something. With a wave of his cloak, he teleported towards another tower. Immediately, the fortress became alive, with alarms blaring and some fairy lights had turned red, giving the fortress a red hue.

"Now the fun begins." Shadow said grinning. Many groups of men in black robes suddenly appeared everywhere. They stood on the high walls, monitering the whole base. "Well, things are going according to my plan. Terria's famous black paladins had appeared."

Shadow was observing the paladins when he felt a spell heading towards him. He jumped, narrowly dodging a flaming arrow. The arrow alerted the paladins of Shadow's location, and a group teleported off the wall. They appeared surrounding Shadow. One paladin with a white crest on his sleeve spoke.

"Who are you? The Paladins Of Terria question you." He questioned Shadow. "Answer me! Or we'll take action."

"My name is no concern to you. My job is to warn you. Leave the base now, or be destroyed along with it." Shadow said looking towards the paladin. "Tell the whole Terria army to leave or be killed. Our main target is your Clan Master."

The paladin shook with fury and shouted. "Lord Narius defeated by the likes of you? You must be dreaming! I, Gero will kill you!" He concentrated a huge ball of energy and charged towards Shadow. Just as he was about to hit Shadow, Shadow disappeared. The paladin looked around him, searching for Shadow. He gasped as he found the dead bodies of his comrades around. Then, wounds appeared in an instant all over his body. He fell.

"Gero! Gero!" a paladin shook Gero. Gero was motionless, standing weakly as if in a daze. " YOU! What have you done the Gero?" The paladin shouted, pointing his sword at Shadow. "He merely felt into a illusion." Shadow replied, and with a wave of his hand disappeared.

"How the?" The paladin said, dumbfounded at how Shadow manage to escape them. " I thought Felis casted a anti-teleportation barrier?" He turned towards Felis and saw Felis in the same state as Gero.

"Who set off the alarm!!" Virgil screamed as he ran. A team of paladins were chasing him. He turned and found himself facing a dead end. When he turned back, the path had already been blocked by the paladins.

"Surrender yourself!" a paladin spoke. "Or we will kill you..."

Virgil laughed. "Is that suppose to be a threat? Leave... Or I WILL kill you." Virgil said, staring at the paladin. The paladin then motioned for his team to attack Virgil. They charged towards Virgil, all preparing spells to strike him down. Virgil inhaled a deep breath, and tore off his right sleeve. Red markings on his right arm was crawling towards his shoulder, and it was slowly spreading towards his body.

"Impossible! He's the Red Demon !" The paladin realised. " STOP YOUR ATTACK!" He shouted, trying to warn his team.

However, the order came too late. A red orb of energy emerge from Virgil's palm. A huge blast of red energy erupted from the orb. The blast hit the paladins, sending them flying. Red mist had surrounded Virgil, blocking him from the paladin leader's view. Virgil started walking towards the paladin. The paladin slowly saw Virgil's figure appear, the red markings on his right arm shining brightly through the mist. Virgil emerged out of the mist, and looked at the paladin.

"You're the Red Demon!" the paladin screamed. "You're Virgil, the Crimson Prince"

Virgil smiled, and the red markings started to retract slowly back towards his hand. " I see you seem to know my identity."

"Who doesn't, you're the son of Saint. Along with your brothers, you three are know as Heaven's Three. Crimson Prince, Virgil. Black Lord, Shadow. White Saint, Tien." he said. "However, because each of you shown amazing poweress, many names were given. Red Demon being most famous for you. Dark Illusion for Shadow. Finally, White Lighting for Tien."

"Why don't you just stop talking and fight me?" Virgil said, walking closer to the paladin. The paladin retreated. "It'll be impossible for me to defeat you." He replied. The paladin then suddenly turn and ran. The paladin ran for quite a distance, he turned back and was relieved that Virgil didn't give chase. Then, he knocked into someone. He gasped as he saw the person's long white hair, and the person wasn't old. He knew immediately he had bumped into the White Saint, Tien. "Please don't kill me..." the paladin said, begging for mercy. He closed his eyes, praying that he would be spared. For a moment, nothing happened. He opened his eyes and saw that Tien had already disappeared and was nowhere in sight. He collapsed shocked from his near death experience.

Tien had ignored the paladin's pleas, he made his way around the maze with amazing speed. The magical restraining spell had been lifted due to the raise of the alarm. It was to allow the paladins to be able to freely use spells to support themselves, however, it also means that the attackers could use magic freely too. Tien's magical agility made it effortless for him to travel around the area, reaching speeds so fast only a trail of light could be seen as he moved around. He was about to reach the center when one person dressed in white appeared in front of him, blocking him path.

"You aren't as fast as they say you are..."

Chapter I

"We have to alert King Holis..." a man said, his voice shaking. Two men wearing white robes will a crest emblemed on their cape were inspecting the magical gate of Demonia. Cracks were appearing on the gate, and they were trying to evaluate the damage. "My guess is it'll take about three years before they can break through the gate, maybe even less." One said as he felt the cracks on the gate. "Let's hope we will be ready by then..." said the other, cautiously surveying the area around them. "The barrier has weakened over time, some demons may have already escaped. We should leave." "I agree, let us lea-- argh..." he said, but before he could finish his sentence, he fell dead motionless. "Liam! What's going on! Show yourself, DEMON!" He partner shouted, surveying the area and brandished his sword. Suddenly, his neck snapped and he collapsed to the ground, dead. A vague mist shimmered and slowly it took shape, slowly a woman with blue hair appeared out of the mist. She looked down at the fallen men and laughed. " Fools, there is no way we'll let the world know." She waved his arm and their bodies started dissovling. "Especially when we're so close..." She finished smiling, looking out into the horizon before she slowly returned into her misty form and vanished. Meanwhile, hundred miles away, in the Kingdom of Teira, three teenagers were outside of a Clan fortress, hidden by shrubs.. It was surrounded by high walls and guards were patroling around the vicinity. The teenagers huddled together seemingly discussing about a serious matter. "The guards here leave for meal at about this time, if we jump up now we should be able to sneak in without alerting the guards." one teenager said. He had shoulder-length white hair which was tied into a neat ponytail, his fringe was left untied and was covering his face. "lets jump." "You sure we can make the jump?" another quickly responded. His hair was short and spiky, also white. He has very sharp features and was stunningly handsome. "Its pretty high." "Its possible, in fact i think i should be easy." the third spoke. Also with distinct features and a stunningly handsome face, he had slightly long hair which was also white. "Tien, lead the way." The long-haired teenager responded and arranged his fringe. His face was now visible. He too had sharp features and a stunningly handsome face. They also looked slightly alike, as if they were brothers. Tien positioned himself and in one graceful effort, he effortlessly landed on the the top of the wall, two hundred metres tall. "All clear!" Tien shouted. "i'm going next, Shadow." The shorthaired teenager said to the other before he jumped and landed on the top. "Nice of you to come, Virgil." Tien laughed as Virgil landed. Shadow wasting no time quickly jumped and landed beside Tien and Virgil. "Let's go to advenge our father." Shadow said and jumped down into the Fortress. Virgil and Tien followed and landed neatly behind Shadow. Shadow turned and reached his hand out. "Brothers, lets go!" His brothers also reached out their hands and placed it over his. "Let's split up..." Tien said and they seperated and left in different directions.
