Chapter XXXThe librarian swept the dust off the book, coughing from the dust. "This book is about 6000 years old, about as old as me." He said, laughing.
"6000?" Someone said, sitting at a nearby table asked, marveling in another book. "That's pretty young for an immortal. Well, I am done with this book too." He laughed and stood up from his chair. The man had pure white hair, his eyes were covered with a long red cloth which was tied behind his head and allowed to flow to the ground. He was dressed in a black coat with white trimmings, reaching to the ground. The coat was opened, revealing his black top made of dragonhide and his soft yet stiff white pants. "It's amazing how fast you can read with your mind." He said, then he felt a sudden impact on his stomach and coughed. "What the-"
5340 miles away..."I am sorry! I didn't know it was so powerful!" Jing said, helping Tien back onto his feet. Tien smiled weakly and mumbled he was okay. Jing's dragon abilities with her current level of magic was powerful enough, however, when fused, even Tien flew from the impact from her punch when it landed on his stomach.
"Very well done." Tien said.
Back at the Library..."Tien! Are you okay?" The immortal asked, approaching Tien quicky.
"I am okay. I think my clone recieve some sort of powerful blow." Tien said, rubbing his stomach. "The first one died, that was when I felt some pain in my chest. Now, this one must have recieve a powerful impact on his stomach, but I am sure he won't die. He is strong enough."
"I understand." The immortal said, relaxing his elderly features. His bald head gleaming from the light, his long white beard flowing over his red robes. "Well, I'll leave you to your books then. Please do remember your promise." He said before turning to leave.
"Just to be curious, how old is this immortal princess i am suppose to find in the mainlands?" Tien asked.
The immortal turned and smiled. "16."
