Chapter XLIIIDen struggled against his attackers, his dagger flying in all directions. He struck quickly against his masked attackers, his dagger buried itself deep into one, but it grabbed onto his dagger and sliced off the cloth, before it fell to the ground.
Two then jumped and swung their blades at him. Den quickly whisper a quick incantation, and pulled two swords out of the air. Parrying the blades away, he killed them quickly, slicing their heads off.
He looked around him, he had never seen any force that looked as dangerous as these. Their armor were black, with blades on their shoulders, elbows, arm, knee, shins and helmet. Wielding massive axes and blades, they were also very strong.
Den knew they were strong, but he knew his swords gave him an unfair advantage. He counted at least 10 in front of him. However, he knew someone more powerful was watching.
Tien and Jing observed from afar, Jing had almost went to help, but Tien stopped her. Now, they saw Den slashing the Demonian Troops even before his swords touched them.
"How is he able to do that?" Jing asked.
"His sword is made of a special material that is able to release aura energy, he is a soul user like me."
"Tien. What's that?" Jing pointed at a black dot slowly widening above one of the Demonian troop.
"Get into your angels gear, that means trouble." Tien said.
Jing's ring immediately burned up and a purple dragon emerged from it, coiling around her body, it flattened itself onto her and her armor materialised from it's scale, spreading to cover her completely. Her right hand glew and a stream of fire appeared, burning down into a katana with dragon markings.
Tien drew a circle with his right hand, a white line appearing as he traced the air. He touch within the circle and a symbol appeared, pushing himself through it, his armor appeared as his body passed the symbol and it disappeared. Pulling a white coat out from thin air, he wore it over his light armor and nodding to Jing, they S-un towards the battle.
