Chapter XLVIII

The demons hesitated, then turned to look at the bigger demon who killed Tien's soul clone.

"gajhoijaektr gaidujoiae gaoijt!" The demon shouted, and right after it did, the elites backed out a little, and started casting long distance spells.

Tien smiled more, but looking less angry then before, in fact, he was almost laughing.

Jing stood from far and looked at the on going battle, the elites had surrounded Tien completely, and as the casters were casting, arrows rained down on Tien, but the arrows seemed to be deflected before they even reach Tien.

When the casters finished casting, a purple seal slowly appeared in front of the casters, facing Tien. A purple energy bolt appeared from the seal and went on it's deadly move to Tien.

"Heart piercers? That's the best they can do after all the grace I've given them?" Tien said.

Jing looked at Tien, and it all happened in an flash, the heart piercers went through Tien, passing by him as if he wasn't there, and the spells hit the casters themselves, and the bows of all the archers behind disappeared.

Den stood there looking at Tien. Not knowing what had happened at all, even with his aura eyes activated.

Jing didn't see anything, all she saw was Tien going blur for a while and then he surrounded by frozen bows.

The bigger demon wasn't amused. "kjhsguirt!" it shouted and the demonic troops started to retreat towards the portal.

"You wish." Tien said, and the ice shard circle expanded at an extreme speed, and so did his aura. The demons that entered the circle were frozen instantly. Soon the circle was big enough to cover the battlefield.

Only one stood unfrozen. The demon that killed the soul clone.

"jdkhfiurt.. sjdifjo!"

"Thankfully I've learnt demon tongue during my stay in the library." Tien said to himself.

"jdhfuisehrj!" The demon said.

"khguishejrkjlji.. lkdogjst. ljiojfgkrjt ljdfgr osjgiorjt." Tien replied laughing.

The demon was getting fustrated. "ldshgirjtk... kjdhgidjrkt! lfdjgi jigjorrkt lkjaidf."

Tien nodded.

The demon then raised it's bonelike blade and pierced his neck. Black blood started to gush out from the wound it had created itself. The blood levitated around the demon, forming purplish red seals all around the demon. Orbs then started to appear in front of the seals, levitating.

Jing was running towards Tien as the orbs started to appear. She had understood what the conversation between Tien and the demon was about.

The demon pointed at Tien. The orbs then grew brighter and bigger, then, red streams of energy bolts flew towards Tien. Right before the energy bolts reached Tien, a familiar figure jumped into the path of the bolts.

It was Jing.
