Chapter XLV

[You can understand me now Demon.] Tien's voice can be heard loudly in Den's head, however there was a very short echo in his voice. However, the voice was making Den's head throb, his head hurting.

Den crawled up from the ground, able to see Tien and the demon in full view now. Tien was floating, his pearl white hair has streaks of pale blue now. Den couldn't see, but a bright blue symbol was glowing on the right side of Tien's neck.

[Tell me Demon, how do like to be killed?] Tien said into the demon's mind. [Slowly?]

Immediately, without warning, the demon's entire right arm froze up and shattered.

"Aura eyes!" Den whispered, activating his ability. What he saw sent shivers now his spine. Tien was now glowing brightly, his aura so concentrated and powerful that it was blinding to look at.

[Rest... Eternally....]

Tien suddenly appeared behind the Demon, back facing it. The Demon blinked before it became completely frozen solid. Tien turned and gathered a bright ball of energy in his palm. Throwing it at the frozen demon, the demon shattered into dust.

"May your corrupted soul rest in the wind." Tien whispered before the symbol disappeared and he landed softly on the ground. He walked towards the ice dome and shattered it. Kneeling down, he softly touched Jing's cheeks, and her wound healed, leaving her as before.

"This is the best I can do." Tien said, carrying her up. "Don't want you to be buried scarred and wounded."

Tien slowly walked towards the exit of the town, carrying Jing tenderly in his arms.

"Tien..." Den weakly called out before he lost conciousness and collapsed.

Tien turned for a moment after hearing the voice, only to shake his head and continue on his way out of town.
