Chapter LIIITien's skin burned as Qing's fire magic hit his bare flesh. He pressed his hand against his skin, and once again, his skin was new.
"That was the seventy second attempt." Tien said, smiling. His upper body bare as he tended to the plants on the yard. Some flowers were withered by the heat of the blast, but with a slight wave from Tien, they returned to their former glory.
Qing screamed in frustration, she ran towards Tien when she suddenly felt a force holding her back.
"You demon. Is this how you toy with others?" A powerful booming voice rang out behind Qing. Three red haired men with black markings on their bodies appeared. They were wearing black robes.
"So the Black Gods are here." Tien said, turning to face them. His eyes already black as night. "Thank you for coming."
"Your very existence upsets the balance of good and evil." one said.
"You cannot live, Tien. Son of Saint." another said.
"You have forsaken your father's good name and your brother's trust by joining Demonia." the last said. "You have proven that by revealing your demonic eyes."
Tien smiled, as he watch them whisper chants, attempting to bind him. However, a symbol appeared at his pupil. Time stood still, as Tien waved off their bindings effortlessly. He moved forward towards them, a black jagged katana appearing in his hands. He slit the throats of the Black Gods, and removed black beads from his pants pocket. Pushing them into the wounds of the Black Gods, he allowed time to continue.
Only a weak gasp could be heared, as their throats healed immediately. However the black beads dissolved into their blood, numbing their ancient magic, corrupting the powerful great magic flowing in their veins. They fell together, veins turning black, and soon their markings disappeared as they died.
Tien wrapped his hand around Qing's throat and lifted her off the ground.
"You have outlived your worth."
