Chapter LXI

"Now... about you." Virgil said, turning to look at Deras. "How do you guys want to handle him?"

Tien and Shadow looked at each other.
"You decide." They said in unison.

Virgil looked at Deras in his eyes, as if telling him that he would suffer a pain no man or demon has ever suffered before. Deras shuddered.

"Very well then. All of you, leave the room." Virgil said as he motioned for the ANGELs to retreat.

Everyone left except for Tien and Shadow.

"Erm... Virgil... you're not gonna do That are you?" Tien asked.

"Maybe."

"That? Which That do you mean?" Shadow said.

"You know, that XXXX and that XXXX or that XXXXX, although there are a lot more, i think it should be one of these."

Deras started to shudder as he let his imagination loose, without much effort, he soiled himself.

"EW. HE SOILED HIMSELF." Tien said, spotting the wet patch around Deras groin area.

"Gross." Shadow said.

"It's time to carry out That." Virgil said, smiling coldly.

"Time to leave then. We don't like such scenes." Tien and Shadow said as they started to leave the room.

As they closed the door, they saw Virgil snapping on a rubber glove.

Seconds later, screams and shrieks were heard from the room where Deras is.

"Ouch." Tien and Shadow said.

Chapter LX

"You could have made me die more valiantly." Virgil said, sitting atop of his own corpse. "Hey! This is rather comfy."

Tien smiled brightly as he started bouncing on his body. "Bouncy~"

"What... is this?" Deras said, glaring at the bouncing Tien.

"You have fallen under my spell.." Shadow muttered, white flames dancing in his palm. He looked at Deras and smiled, the flames extinguished.

In an instance, the surrounding starts to change. Alleyways melted as the illusion shattered, revealing themselves to be inside the ANGELS headquarters. Deras looked around him, he was surrounded. Virgil's dead body melted into an unknown person in ANGELS gear. Tien's melted into Demoa.

"When...?" Deras whispered in anger.

"Yea, when?" Virgil asked, glaring at both Shadow and Tien, who seemed oblivious to his piercing stare. "Why am i the last to know?"

"Well... you see..." Tien started, nervously tapping his index fingers together. "We thought if we let you know, you'd charge into the place and spoil our fun." He finished with a nervous big grin."

"You think I am that kind of ignorant person?" Virgil said angrily.

"Yes." Shadow replied.

"Wha-" Deras started but was quickly silenced as Virgil pounced onto him and magically sealed his mouth shut.

"You aren't gonna talk until we settled this."

"He's angry." Tien said, cowering behind Shadow.

"You people!" Virgil shouted at the other ANGELS. "Am I that kind of person?"

The ANGELS looked at each other for a moment before nodding. In an instant, they regretted their decision. Virgil materialised a huge blood red scythe.

"Oh really?" Virgil said in an menacing tone.

"No! You aren't that kind of person!" The ANGELS started pacifying Virgil, who calm down after Shadow spoke.

"You see Virgil..the truth is, we didn't want to bother the busy you because of such a low level stuff, you are above this."

(Shadow crossed his fingers)

Virgil smiled, and bashfully replied.

"Well... next time, at least let me know okay?"

"You are a genius." Tien whispered to Shadow.

Chapter LIX

"Feeling the cold now Virgil?" Tien laughed. "Even if you're the oldest among us three, you will never defeat me. My powers have increased greatly even since i've gotten these eyes, and you shall always stay in that wishful dream of yours to destroy the demon king."

"You don't have the guts to kill me." Virgil said.

Tien s-un beside Virgil, and stabbed his black katana into Virgil's heart. "Don't judge me like i was before."

"Well done Tien." Deras said clapping as he appeared from the darkness. "I must say i'm impressed, two class A mages in a day"

"Shut up Deras. I've done my part, now let's just get rid of the rest." Tien said.

Deras stopped for awhile. "Tien, let me put it simply to you. We don't need you anymore after your brothers have been slain."

Deras took out a dark mirror marked with ancient incantations.

"What? That wasn't part of our agreem-"

Tien started to feel something in his eyes, he screamed as he felt excruciating pain.

The demonic eyes started to pull itself out of Tien's eye sockets, and along with it, his soul. And with that, the eyes flew into the mirror that Deras held.

"And with that, the sons of Saint shall be a threat no more." Deras said laughing.

"Illusion end." Shadow said, standing beside Tien's fallen body.

Chapter LVIII

"Your eyes.." Virgil muttered.

"Yeap. You've guess it." Tien smiled coldly at Virgil.

"But.. why?"

"Why? for the fun of it of course. HAHAHA." Tien laughed. "Enough said, now you shall fall. Without a leader, the ANGELS shan't be a threat to the demon empire anymore. And with that fake transmission i sent just now, the ANGELS forces are doomed to be destroyed."

"Not if i can help it." Virgil said as he touched his ring, but nothing happened. "What the-?"

"You really think i'll be dumb enough to let you just send a transmission just like that? This area has a jammer casted on it. You're alone now Virgil. Shadow won't be here to help you."

With that, Tien appeared behind Virgil, and without any warning, he casted a series of ice magic, only to hit the empty spot where Virgil once stood.

"Not that easy my brother." Virgil said.

"Cruento!!" Virgil quick casted again, the blood spikes appeared in every direction, appearing with such force that the ground shook with power.

"You've grown weaker Virgil." Tien said, landing on top of a spike.

"And so have you." Virgil said.

Tien looked at his robes, there were many small cuts on it. He looked at Virgil. "Not bad... Guess I'll have some fun afterall."

"Me too." Virgil said.

Chapter LVII

“I’m sorry. I got here too late..I--”

“Sorry? Is that ALL YOU CAN SAY? He’s our brother!” Virgil roared, casting an invisible choke hold on Tien.

“At...least we could avenge him since we found the where Deras is hiding...” Tien sputtered under Virgil’s strong grip.”

“I suppose you’re right…The ANGELS will arrive in 7 mins.”
“Let us get those assholes.” Virgil said through clenched teeth.

He releases Tien.

“Shadow…” Virgil started to walk towards Shadow when suddenly, his magic sense screamed in warning.

“!!”
‘What the—”

The atmosphere had turned deathly cold as gales of icy wind formed into a tornado, surrounding the area. Virgil spun around abruptly, only to find that Tien had vanished.

“7 mins huh? I’m afraid you won’t live any longer than that…” Tien whispered, sending cold breaths down Virgil’s spine.

“Cruento!” Virgil’s quick cast impaled the area behind him.
“Tien...You……!!”

Materializing in front of Virgil, Tien said, his eyes as black as the night.

“Our brother is dead Virgil. And you’re next.”

Chapter LVI

Tien closed Shadow's eyes, and pulled out the dagger. With a wave of his hand, Shadow's wounds closed itself, leaving him untouched. Tien turned as he heard clapping.

"Shadow, Prince of Illusions. Died just like that." Deras said. "Such a pity." Deras had redish grey skin, his body full of symbols in an unknown tongue. His eyes is completely black, he had an air of merciless death around him.

"Why did you take Qing?"

"I have my reasons"

Tien wiped the dagger he had killed Shadow with, and spoke. "We have to forward the plan to tonight. My brother's early discovery and death complicates things."

Deras nodded.

Tien touched his ANGELS ring, opening a telepathic connection to all ANGEL everywhere.

Shadow has been killed by a demon name Deras, he is in hiding near Teran's Cove at the Death Plains. All ANGELS are to report there for a full scale battle against the demons. I believe they have a portal there, leaking demons into our cities. Report as the moon reaches the sky.

The message was sent. Tien released his finger from the ring, walking over to Shadow's body where he froze Shadow's body preserving it.

"You might want to leave." Tien said. "Virgil and Eva are coming."

Deras nodded, and disappeared in a explosion of black smoke.

Tien looked at his dead brother's face, and smiled.

The plan is on the way, soon part of the world will be mine. Tien thought. Do not blame me, it was your mistake to be too trusting.

"SHADOW!" Virgil screamed as he appeared behind Tien in a brilliant flash of white. "NO!"

Chapter LV

Tien laughed. "So? You can't stop me." Tien said. "Gods can only watch and not act in anything mortal."

I already have

Shadow appeared beside Saint, his anger showing on his face. Saint nodded, before he vanished into nothing.

"I never expect you to do this."

"Well... Now you do."

Shadow's hand caught fire, as he glared at Tien.

"I will fight you." Shadow said. Tien laughed before he suddenly gripped his head, screaming. Shadow was taken back.

"SHADOW! KILL ME!" Tien shouted as he dropped to his knees. "I CAN'T CONT-"

How dare you fight me, mortal fool A voice came from within Tien said.

"Sh- Shadow" Tien whispered in pain. "Quick!"

Shadow s-un to Tien side. His flames gone as he held onto Tien's shoulders.

"You can fight it! I'll -" Shadow said.

Fresh blood flowed onto the ground and as soon as it touched the surface, it started burning. Shadow gasped as he felt a dagger go into his heart.

Tien stood up, giving Shadow a hard kick, sending him flying, crashing into a wall.

"Thats why i say good people are so naive." Tien said, his face expressionless. Shadow could not heal himself, there was something magical inside the dagger that stopped his regeneration.

Shadow saw Tien kneel beside him, and pulled the dagger out. A fresh wave of pain hit him, as he felt something sharp force it's way into his skull.

The world went black, as he felt no more pain.
